CSP meets Sri Annamacharya Project of North America founders

CSP met the founders of the Sri Annamacharya Project of North America (SAPNA) - Dr Saradapurna Sonty and Dr Sriram Sonty, at the launch of their souvenir on completion of 32 years in promoting the compositions of the Telugu composer Annamacharya in Chicagoand other parts of North America.

SAPNA is a not for profit organisation established in Chicago which focuses on presenting a Bharatiya perspective and analysis on all relevant cutural, spiritual, social issues through the arts.

Senator Richard J Durbin writing in the souvenir says that named after India's Hindu saint Annamacharya, a prolific 15th century, composer, poet and social activist, SAPNA has celebrated his legacy by promoting Indian performing arts and contributing significantly to Indo-American understanding, culture and culture.

The book was released at the Indian Music Experience, Bangalore - India's first music museum.
