Center for Soft Power author Ishwarya Chaitanya, a trained yoga teacher, therapist and Bharatanatyam dancer will be holding a yoga session at Saudi Aviation Club, Al Thumamah National Park on February 1, 2020 as a part of the Fitness Power programme by Vidafit.
The event is for over 500 women at different fitness levels. Other programmes include Latin Dance, toning by Les Mills from New Zealand and a 3 km run on of the longest runways in Saudi Arabia.
Ishwarya holds an MA in dance from Sastra University under the guidance of Dr Padma Subrahmanyam, a diploma in yoga therapy from SVYASA University and a BSc. in environmental studies from the University of British Columbia.
Ishwarya is a yoga teacher and therapist trained in Hatha-Iyenga and Ashtanga Vinyasa. She holds a 200-hour certificate from Tattva Yogashala, Rishikesh and trained under her father who is a student of Sri Swami Chidananda former secretary of Divine Life Society.
Earlier Ishwarya has conducted yoga workshops and retreats at Rishikesh, Pennsylvania as well as Vancouver, Canada.
